  1. Interesting deck One thing I have learned is to note the difference between decks that claim to be a “tarot” deck vs. an “oracle” deck. If you want little tid-bits of advice, simple morals to take with you through out the day, then an Oracle deck is just fine. However, if there is a deep rooted question one wishes to ask and fully explore, then a Tarot deck is more appropriate.Having said that, this oracle deck is charming. The artwork is beautiful and draws the eye. The cards all repesent common, yet useful themes that do help one get through a day. The advice serves as good morals to live by and is very helpful, which is what one is looking for when they consult a deck in the first place. I have used this deck several times since it arrived and I am very pleased with the advice. If anyone is starting out exploring Orcale or Tarot decks then this should be one to start with.

  2. Captivating, Snarky, Quirky, Lovely “For this oracle is like no other: It is for the lost and lonely, the broken-hearted and the orphans and misfits–for the wanderers and the strangers even in the midst of friends. This is your guide to finding your way, changing your world, mending a broken heart and discovering your soul family while still on the planet. If you’re brave enough, asking their advice can reveal a world of sweet beauty, whimsical rhymes and steadfast courage. So say farewell to fear! Walk through the veil, and be prepared to enter their magical world.” – Lucy Cavendish, in the companion book to the Oracle of Shadows and LightA Candy Cane Angel and an Absinthe Fairy, A Clockwork Pumpkin and a Sewer Mermaid–who are these odd wide-eyed beings that refuse to “put on a happy face” or be forced into the gray garb of normality? These eerie messengers are denizens of the Oracle of Shadows & Light, a lavishly illustrated 45-card deck featuring the vibrant artwork of American artist Jasmine…

  3. Beautiful artwork, and I love the booklet too! This deck is of very high quality, the printing on the images is amazing. I couldn’t be happier with it. Lucy Cavendish’s descriptions for each card are very detailed and give a great insight into the beautiful Jasmine Becket-Griffith paintings. I have a lot of various oracle decks, but this is hands-down my favourite. Highly recommended to anyone who loves gothic, fantasy, fairy art or who wants a very unique and well thought out oracle deck.
