    Great Devo Book for “Sandwich” Moms (and Dads) Some days I almost forget we are now helping care for my husband’s two elderly parents. We are living our more accustomed life of raising and caring for our daughter, my husband’s job, volunteer commitments and regular chores. And then the phone rings.

    No caregiver will feel alone after reading this book There are times when caregiving is lonely, depressing, filled with angst and resentment, and not at all what you want to be doing. And then shortly after that moment, you feel like the world’s worst daughter for having such awful feelings. And you feel even more alone, because surely no one else could feel this way.
