Everything Celtic Wisdom A great overview of a complex subject. Lots of good starts for more research and connections that can be found on you tube. A great place to start.
An Amazing Book I have been looking for a book that gives a thorough yet broad overview of all things Celtic: mythology, folklore, history, artifacts, archaelogy, etc. This is the book! The information is just amazing—you can tell the author has been studying in this area for many years. In the books I have read, Celtic information is very fragmentary and disjointed. This book helps put it together, and I will use it as a reference on my shelf. I have read a number of Celtic books and websites, and this book amazed me by presenting information that I have not yet come across and is not discussed at all on sites like Wikipedia.On the subject of things that can be improved: pictures. When discussing artifacts, archaelogical sites, and Celtic art, pictures would help immensely. Also, pronunciation guides for Gaelic and Welsh people and place names would be great.All in all, a highly recommended book.
