The Kartoss Gambit: Way of the Shaman, Book 2

A product of the latest technologies, Barliona is a virtual world brimming with fun and entertainment. The government has become the guarantor for the in-game currency, allowing its free circulation. As a result the population floods Barliona in pursuit of easy money.

Bounty

Justice Lonesome has enjoyed a life of bounty. Even so, she’s inherited the curse of the Lonesome. A poet’s soul. Which means she’s still searching for something. Searching for peace. Searching for the less…that’s more. And when the foundation of her life is pulled out from under her, grieving, she goes to the mountains to find her oasis. She hits Carnal, Colorado, and decides to stay.

Deke Hightower lost everything at the age of two. He lost it again at 15. His life has not been about bounty. It’s been about learning to live with less, because there’s no way to get more. Deke’s also watched all his friends go down to the women who gave them what they needed. He wants that for himself. But he knows that search isn’t going to be easy, because he’s a rider. His home is the road. That’s the only place he can breathe. And the woman who takes her place at his side has to do it sitting on the back of his bike.

When Deke meets Justice, he knows she’s not that woman. She’s cute. She’s sweet. And she’s into him, but she’s got it all, and Deke knows he won’t fit in to that. So he holds her at arm’s length. Establishes boundaries. And Justice will take it, because she wants Deke any way he’ll let her have him. But when Justice finds herself a pawn in a dangerous game, Deke makes a decision. When he does, he has no idea he’s just opened himself up to bounty.

Summer with a Star: Second Chances, Book 1

All Tasha Pike has wanted for the past 20 years is to rent Sand Dollar Point for a summer. The grand Victorian on the beach of Summerbury, Maine was the object of her childhood fantasy and her standard of romance – and it was finally happening. Her dream summer is ruined, however, when she arrives in Summerbury to find that Hollywood superstar Spencer Ellis has muscled his way into the house instead. His offer that they share Sand Dollar Point is not only infuriating – it’s insulting.

He’s a celebrity, and one she’s determined to hate.

Spencer’s summer in Maine was supposed to help him get his head screwed on straight. One look at Tasha, however, made that impossible. She’s beautiful. She’s angry. She doesn’t care who he is. She doesn’t care about his fame. In fact, she doesn’t even like him.

She’s irresistible.

He’s only got the summer. She’s only got her heart. They’ve only got each other.

Life Loves You Cards

Like Louise Hay’s perennial best-sellers, Power Thought Cards and Wisdom Cards, the LIFE LOVES YOU CARDS contain affirmations that plant seeds for personal growth and transformation. Created by Louise Hay and Robert Holden, co-authors of Life Loves You: 7 Spiritual Practices to Heal Your Life, the LIFE LOVES YOU CARDS, like their book, explore the deeper meaning and practical application of Louise’s signature affirmation, Life loves you.

Each of the 52 cards contains an affirmation to practice on one side and on the other, an inspiring message to encourage self-inquiry and positive action. Among the affirmations:·         I dedicate today to love
·         I live in a friendly universe
·         I trust that life wants the best for me
·         I listen to the wisdom of my body
·         I choose to live with ease
·         I follow my joy
As an example, the card for the affirmation Life loves you contains the following explanatory text on the reverse side:Life loves us all. Look at yourself in a mirror. Breathe in and say,
“Life loves me.” As you breathe out, smile. Repeat ten times.
The card deck is designed to be consulted in many different ways: as an oracle, perhaps, or a focus for the day or week, or to provide guidance on a specific issue. However the cards are used, the authors say, they all demonstrate the transforming power of love.

From the author of “Words of Inspiration: A Collection of Poems for the One You Love”, comes the second edition, “Words of Inspiration: The Love Collection II”. As with the first collection of Love poems, this book expounds on the many facets of love. Author, Robert T. Sells, continues his journey of love with verse after verse of romantic, yet poetic prose. Born Only Once, Third Edition: The Miracle of Affirmation

This timeless classic, Born Only Once, describes the emotional turmoil of many persons and offers hope for healing through the author’s compassionate understanding of their deepest wounds. Psychiatrist Conrad Baars discusses this inner unrest in terms of the fundamental human need for unconditional love, or affirmation. When children have been denied the gift of themselves through affirmation to a greater or lesser degree, they continue to look for this unconditional love, and later as adults suffer from deep feelings of inferiority, inadequacy, uncertainty, and insecurity, as well as having difficulty relating to others. Baars describes how authentic affirmation strengthens a person to feel secure and happy in himself, able to confront the world and to relate to others with confidence. Affirmation is what unaffirmed persons and those with Emotional Deprivation Disorder need to feel at peace, strong, and secure in their own identity. Baars lists many things that unaffirmed persons can do to help themselves, but it is hoped that the reader will be moved to lead an authentically affirming life by being open to the goodness of persons, things, nature, ideas, etc. This simple way of being, of openness to being moved, can bring peace and resolve difficulties.
