Maestro: Legend of Drizzt: Homecoming, Book II

Something terrible, unspeakable, immense has come to Menzoberranzan and is leaving death and destruction in its wake. The primordial of Gauntlgrym stirs, sending Cattie-brie and Gromph to Luskan and the ruins of the only power that can keep the beast in check. The damage of the Darkening, of war, and of a demon-ravaged Underdark has sent cracks out across the North. Some of this damage may never be repaired.

And Drizzt is going home. But not to Mithral Hall. Not to Icewind Dale. He’s going to Menzoberranzan. Bruenor is ready to march with him, bringing along an army of dwarves to end the scourge of Menzoberranzan, but Drizzt needs to see what’s happening there. The dwarf army may not be necessary. The City of Spiders might already have fallen to the demons and their wicked prince. But even if that’s true, what’s to say the demons will stop there?

Maestro picks up where Archmage left off, plunging Drizzt into his most dangerous adventure yet and with all the action, adventure, beloved characters, dark elves, monsters, and demon princes Drizzt fans adore.

Soar: Uplifting quotes for those who need hope, a hug, or a high- five.

In a world that’s often filled with words of hatred and scenes of terror and conflict, there is a bright light that shines for us all—a beacon to guide us through the darkness.

Motivated by her own reaction to the daily acts of violence and tragedy seen around the world, author Emily Talkow was moved to write a book based on what gives her comfort during difficult, disheartening times: inspirational quotes.

There’s no instructional manual on how to navigate the highs and lows of life. It’s easy to focus on the negatives that surround us and forget about all of the beauty in the world—and most importantly, in others.

Quotes are a source of encouragement and spiritual medicine for Talkow, and in Soar, she spreads this love and hope to the masses. Soar is a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day, offering hope and inspiration to anyone who needs it.

The Third Wave: An Entrepreneur’s Vision of the Future

The cofounder of America Online and the presidential ambassador for global entrepreneurship shares a road map to success for future innovators.

Steve Case was on the leading edge of the Internet revolution when he cofounded AOL in 1991. He was an entrepreneur in a business that hadn’t even been invented, yet he saw how significantly his efforts could change not only America but the world.

In The Third Wave, Case uses his insights garnered from nearly four decades of working as an innovator, investor, and businessperson to chart a path for future visionaries. From his position as an investor in start-ups like Zipcar and LivingSocial, Case predicts the future of the economy and describes what he calls the “Third Wave of the Internet”. AOL and other companies introduced early consumers to the Internet in the first wave; search giants such as Google and companies such as Apple have led us into the second wave, the app economy; and the third wave will be “the Internet of things”, in which every experience, product, and service will be transacted online. Using his own experience and examples from companies he’s invested in, he lays out a vision for the future of success in a disrupted age.
