Suspense with a little romance… After checking out the titles available this month on Kindle First, I chose another book and my husband chose this one. We then swap Kindles. My husband chose it on the basis he likes other procedural drama’s by female authors such as Patricia Cornwell, he didn’t think this was up to that standard but liked it nonetheless so handed it to me. Will keep you interested One of the better Kindle Firsts. This was well written, with a very likeable main character. I liked the way the author developed the story, especially using an emotional connection between the victim and Detective Larsen. Kept me guessing until almost the very end.
I am glad that I did After perusing the titles available this month on Kindle First, I chose this one. There are many reasons for choosing a book, but for me perhaps one of the most intriguing is a female author writing police procedurals and mystery/suspense… and doing it well.! As a self-professed fan of Marcia Clark and Patricia Cornwell, I welcomed the opportunity. I am glad that I did… (for the most part.!!).
