Is it possible to consciously evoke the divine as a presence and resource in your life¿anytime, anywhere? Not only is it possible, teaches Caroline Myss, but each of us is in fact a ¿channel for grace.¿ Why? Because grace is something we all manifest in two profound ways: internally as divine guidance; and externally, as our expression of personal power. On Channeling Grace, the bestselling author of Anatomy of the Spirit presents a two-CD audio learning course to help listeners bring this dynamic force into their lives. On Part One, Myss explores why grace is especially relevant today, how to recognize it in our lives, and the requirements for intentionally contacting grace. On Part Two, she teaches a full set of guided visualizations for connecting with this spiritual resource to: ¿ Receive direction for important life decisions ¿ Understand the subtle nature of your field of grace ¿ Invoke the divine to heal ourselves and others ¿ Foster inspiration and creativity. ¿Grace is a profound force that is continually active in our lives through countless subtle and direct means,¿ teaches Caroline Myss. ¿Once you grasp the gentle nature of grace, you can recognize its constant presence and influence in your life.¿ Now, this internationally renowned speaker and energy medicine expert offers insights on this unspoken principle in her own life, one that is of utmost importance for anyone seeking continuous spiritual growth and transformation.
Myss forgot to channel her grace for this one… Usually I love Caroline Myss, from her Energy Anatomy and Advanced Energy Anatomy audio series, to her book Why People Don’t Heal and How They Can, to all of her work with archetypes in Sacred Contracts, etc. But this little piece of work is INSANE! Caroline has always been one to call someone on their crap, or call out the garbage in the world, but she straight berates and belittles her audience in this one. On at least four (probably more – I lost count) occasions she outright yells at her audience, scolding them like “spoiled brats”. The rest of the time she goes off on these crazy tangents about nonsensical definitions of what “grace” is. The only part of this CD that’s good is the meditation towards the end of the second disc. I am so glad I only paid the Amazon price for this instead of actually seeing this in what I’m sure was a very expensive seminar. I seriously would have asked for my money back. There are times when we all need a “harsh wake-up call” to move ourselves out…
Beautiful, powerful and moving. Caroline is certainly say it like it is and don’t sugar coat it kind of person. I found myself jumping in spots as Caroline yells at you – but then I know she is extremely passionate about what she is talking about – Grace. This might be off putting to many people but I believe it is because she is passionate about God.I also found myself confused at times as she seems to put God in a box as “a judgmental someone” out there (the Catholic God I grew up with), and then turns it around that God is NOT “someone” out there but is a loving being out there while simultaneously being a part of us – the God I have come to know. I found that a little disconcerting. I also agree with the other reviewer about the mind. She says the mind plays tricks on you – yes it does. The mind can not heal you. But we are commanded to “love God with all of our hearts, souls and minds”. I think there is a good reason mind is mentioned – we need to train our minds to think in line with our heart and…
Instructional w/some meditation This is a 2-CD set, a total of approximately 2 1/2 hours of primarily lecture with a couple of meditations (referred to as “invocations”). This is my first Caroline Myss product, so I cannot compare it to any of her other materials. It is new material, produced in 2008, and is a “Sounds True” production. Carolyn holds degrees in journalism, theology, and intuition and energy medicine. Let me begin by saying that this material is VERY God-based, so, if “God” offends you, step away from this review now and move on to some other product. If you are still with me, read on.This is an excellent product, very simple, very easy to understand. Caroline comes off as a sort of preacher. You can listen to most of it in the car, but NOT the “invocations.” They are meditative and could send you to “the other side” a little earlier than expected (or to the car dealership). The collection is about establishing a relationship with God and recognizing “grace” and an illumination to…
