  1. Not as good as their dessert book. Just like their savory book their recipes are very fancy and ingredients are hard to find. They love promoting their product, so if you live in Paris and can get a hold of these products to make these dishes, this book is just for looks. All their desserts in this book are bought from their store, there is no recipe for them.

  2. half and half I have now all the 3 books of Laduree (i’m not gone buy the fourth). this last one is the most disappointing among them. the pictures are beautiful as always and the ideas are really good but the good things there doesn’t have a recipe… instead the book send you to buy it!!! buy it??? buy it from whom? from where?… from my local patisserie chef (it’s not his book)? from them? go to france? really? is that why I bought that book in the first place? i don’t think so.

  3. Oh, la, la! I have had this edition of the Laduree books for a few weeks now. I find it glorious, and the photos are par excellance! The attention to details is fantastic…and puts me right back in Paris. When I went to the Tea Room for the first time a few years back I ordered the Marie Antoinette Tea. The macaroons came with sorbet to reflect what ever color the macarron was. I was in 7th Heaven! This book reminds me of my experience there. The specifics in the back of the book are certainly…
