the “why” of memoir (not a “how-to”) a fascinating collection of authors, all at different stages of publication. this book is an inspiration to those starting out, a push to those hesitating to tell their story, and a celebration of those bold enough to do so. PS the best essay is by carol e. anderson, “what is it about memoir?”
