  1. great book The book was very clear and practical. It provided the theory behind the recommendations for practice, but also very useful suggestions for improving students motivation. A great book for teachers.

  2. Excellent resource! This book is easy to read but loaded with contemporary theories of motivation. Having fictional students to illustrate theory and intervention is excellent. A couple of chapters also summarizes important concepts in motivation for easy reference. Overall, an excellent resource as a textbook for university classes and/or reference for practicing professionals. I use it in my graduate class on learning and motivation.
