Empowerment Selling: STOP selling and START fulfilling your customer’s needs

Empowerment Selling demonstrates the paradigm shift from selling a product or service by having to convince the customer that it’s the best product/service (which, at the extreme, would be high pressure sales) to facilitating the customer in a client-generated solution for a successful outcome which helps build collaborative, ongoing relationships—and a long-term sales win/win strategy. We are presenting a powerful approach we call The 3C Principle: Connect. Clarify. Cultivate. The 3C Principle focuses on the essence of this underlying empowerment philosophy for effective sales versus detailed mechanics or formulated scripts and the inference that the seller knows more than the customer.

Empowerment Through Forgiveness

I have written this book, to share my passageway of how I became aware of the incredible power which exists within forgiveness. How I learned to become empowered by looking outside the walls of my pain and anger. How I moved beyond discomfort and confusion to release that which was determined to swallow me up, wholly and completely. My choice instead, was to take what was agonizing and terrifying in my life and turn it around, utilizing it to fuel my own self-empowerment. And, to bring my heart and mind the peace needed for healing.

Women Empowerment Through Self Help Groups in Rural Areas: A Study on Women Empowerment Through Self Help Groups in Rural Areas in and around Chennai

A life of dignity is the right of every citizen and poverty is an obstruction to a dignified life. Of the 1.3 billion people who live in absolute poverty around the globe, about 55% are women. For these women, poverty doesn’t just mean scarcity and want, rather, rights denied, opportunities curtailed and voices silenced. Women, who represent half of the human resource are often not recognized and regarded so, due to their inferior positioning in the society. Empowerment’ is a continuous process by which powerless people become conscious of their situation, organize collectively to improve it and access opportunities, as an outcome of which they take control over their own lives, set their own agenda, gain skills, solve problems and develop self-reliance. Personal empowerment can lead to changes in existing institutions and norms, however, without the collective empowerment the personal empowerment and choices are limited, as Sen explains. The nature of empowerment can be diverse, depending upon the parameters that define the lack of power within the institutional framework in operation. In India, Micro finance intervention have brought tremendous change in the life of women.

Empowerment: The Competitive Edge in Sports, Business & Life

In Empowerment: The Competitive Edge in Sports, Business & Life high-profile personality Dr. Gene Landrum presents, in a self-help format, the 13 winning behaviors modeled by the 13 greatest athletes of the modern era. Landrum’s research into the lives of the great entrepreneurs and athletes, supported by a growing body of evidence, suggests that eminence, whether in business or sports derives not from genetic superiority, but from winning behaviors and learned emotional dispositions.

With a delightful blend of gifted story-telling and intellectual scholarship, Dr. Landrum has created a book that melds the recent discoveries in psychology and brain research with the dramatic performances of the world’s greatest athletes. Charismatic athletes such as Michael Jordan, Lance Armstrong, Martina Navratilova and Tiger Woods are analyzed in psycho-biographical profiles that focus on the underlying motivations and behaviors of these preeminent personalities rather than on what they achieved. In this respect and in its connection to the recent research in brain function and psychology, Dr. Landrum’s work is unprecedented in the extant literature on athletes and athletic technique.
