Seven Steps into Angel Light: A Journey of Self-Discovery and Spiritual Empowerment

Angels appear in almost every culture, faith and religion, since the dawn of mankind. In this rapidly changing world of uncertainty, one thing is for sure: a universal source of guidance and love is easily accessible. We have been given the gift of angels. A gift for us to accept with gratitude, or to ignore. The choice is ours.

A highly practical self-help book that draws on the universal power and energy of angels, taking readers on a seven-step journey to reconnect with themselves and live happier, more fulfilled lives.

Inspired by and based on Chrissie’s popular seven-module home-study course ‘Educating Heart & Soul: A Journey in Spiritual Self-Discovery’, this book engages with the powerful energies and qualities of the seven Archangels with which angel expert Chrissie Astell has been working for over fifteen years: Gabriel, Jophiel, Michael, Raphael, Chamuel, Zadkiel and Uriel.

These are the Archangels from the Seven Rays as taught by the Theosophists in the early twentieth century, which represent the seven major types of Light or divine qualities that make up the universe. The content of the book will complement Chrissie’s course, with a maximum of 20-25% content overlap, yet will also stand alone as an excellent means of spiritual self-development; people doing the course will be encouraged to buy the book and people who read the book are likely to want to follow it up with the course.

After an initial introduction telling the author’s story and explaining the power of the Archangels and the symbolism of the number seven, seven main chapters will then lead readers on a journey of self-discovery through the main positive qualities related to the angels‘ communication, inspiration, protection, self-healing, love, transformation and, finally, peace.

Q & A features will appear throughout each chapter, drawing on questions frequently asked by Chrissie’s students; case studies will also appear where appropriate.

The book will allow readers to:
–learn about Angelic Beings, Ascended Masters and Spirit Guides
–connect with and ‘step into’ the different energies of each of the great Archangels
–develop deeper self-knowledge and wisdom
–experience enhanced creativity
–open up to pure, unconditional love
–transmute negative feelings into positive energy
–recognize, honour and respect all individual journeys
–use angelic healing energies and raise consciousness
–use techniques for protection and grounding
–gain knowledge of different types of mystical and religious beliefs
–feel an increased sense of inner peace
–encourage others to open their hearts to forgiveness and healing

Written in a warm, inclusive style, it will guide and support readers throughout their journey, leaving them feeling empowered, more whole and more at ease with their place in the world at large.

The Happiness Advantage: The Seven Principles of Positive Psychology That Fuel Success and Performance at Work

Our most commonly held formula for success is broken. Conventional wisdom holds that if we work hard we will be more successful, and if we are more successful, then we’ll be happy. If we can just find that great job, win that next promotion, lose those five pounds, happiness will follow. But recent discoveries in the field of positive psychology have shown that this formula is actually backward: Happiness fuels success, not the other way around. When we are positive, our brains become more engaged, creative, motivated, energetic, resilient, and productive at work. This isn’t just an empty mantra. This discovery has been repeatedly borne out by rigorous research in psychology and neuroscience, management studies, and the bottom lines of organizations around the globe.

In The Happiness Advantage, Shawn Achor, who spent over a decade living, researching, and lecturing at Harvard University, draws on his own research—including one of the largest studies of happiness and potential at Harvard and others at companies like UBS and KPMG—to fix this broken formula. Using stories and case studies from his work with thousands of Fortune 500 executives in 42 countries, Achor explains how we can reprogram our brains to become more positive in order to gain a competitive edge at work.

Isolating seven practical, actionable principles that have been tried and tested everywhere from classrooms to boardrooms, stretching from Argentina to Zimbabwe, he shows us how we can capitalize on the Happiness Advantage to improve our performance and maximize our potential. Among the principles he outlines:

   • The Tetris Effect: how to retrain our brains to spot patterns of possibility, so we can see—and seize—opportunities wherever we look.
   • The Zorro Circle: how to channel our efforts on small, manageable goals, to gain the leverage to gradually conquer bigger and bigger ones.
   • Social Investment: how to reap the dividends of investing in one of the greatest predictors of success and happiness—our social support network

A must-read for everyone trying to excel in a world of increasing workloads, stress, and negativity, The Happiness Advantage isn’t only about how to become happier at work. It’s about how to reap the benefits of a happier and more positive mind-set to achieve the extraordinary in our work and in our lives.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (A Song of Ice and Fire)

Taking place nearly a century before the events of A Game of Thrones, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms compiles the first three official prequel novellas to George R. R. Martin’s ongoing masterwork, A Song of Ice and Fire. These never-before-collected adventures recount an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living consciousness.

Before Tyrion Lannister and Podrick Payne, there was Dunk and Egg. A young, naïve but ultimately courageous hedge knight, Ser Duncan the Tall towers above his rivals—in stature if not experience. Tagging along is his diminutive squire, a boy called Egg—whose true name (hidden from all he and Dunk encounter) is Aegon Targaryen. Though more improbable heroes may not be found in all of Westeros, great destinies lay ahead for these two . . . as do powerful foes, royal intrigue, and outrageous exploits.

Featuring more than 160 all-new illustrations by Gary Gianni, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a must-have collection that proves chivalry isn’t dead—yet.

Inspirations and Emotions: Seven Layers to the Truth

My name is Daniel Hamel AKA Hunter Dan. Thank you for purchasing a copy of my book of poems. The book is titled,” Inspirations and Emotions”. The title suits this collection very well. They are all written because a topic or an event inspired me to write it. And the Emotions that I felt while writing virtually all of these, especially the ones written that have to do with my disease. While I was still active and after I went to rehab. There were many many tears shed with pen to the paper. These poems are all inspired by me as a person who in many ways lived a simple life with many complications along the way. So many as you will read are self inflicted. While others I had no control over. I am a man with hobbies, family and friends, and a disease that is in my blood that I let overpower my life. It cost me my second marriage to probably the best thing that ever happened to me. She is a sweetheart and we were supposed to grow old together. Even though we separated she still loved me enough to take me to rehab. We communicated through that and took life one day at a time. We were working on our marriage and were going to stay together, then I made a decision that I regret. It ended our marriage and I had to let go of my best friend. I crushed my own heart. But as The End says,” I couldn’t stand between her and her family. Writing that poem was like writing my own obituary. People may ask, ” why share so many deep dark personal imperfections with the world”? My answer: Because I am human, I have made mistakes throughout my life. People do and will continue to. My poems have helped me communicate what I do and feel, and if my poems can help anyone at all with their own life experiences or they can simply relate to one, many or all that is why I chose to share them . Many are about happy times as well. I am proud of each and every poem that I wrote. I am an outdoorsman, I am a son, a brother, a friend, a compassionate citizen (Thinking Of You), an alcoholic in recovery, and a greatful man that I have that at this point in my life. The last ten poems is a chapter of poems that was done collaboratively while I was in rehab by a class I attended. We sat in a circle, each with a clipboard, pen and paper. We wrote the first line that had to be a positive about our recovery. Then passed it to the right and that person wrote a second line and so on until it came back around. Then we read it and wrote the last line. It was alot of fun. They didn’t have to rhyme but could. They are creative. They don’t exactly have to make sense and for the most part they don’t. But it was a real fun exercise, and I made sure I got a copy of them for this book. The titles are just the originators name. It is evident we were in recovery and it was late winter and we had spring fever. I hope you enjoy my book about my crazy life and again I thank you for your purchase.
